Proposal

Depending on the type of job, we send you a bid within one day to one week. For cabinetry, the bid will consist of a design for the project (drawing) and a cost estimate. Depending on the complexity of the project we usually bid a set price but sometimes bid for labor and materials. This will be explicit in the bid. In most cases, the bid and final price are the same, unless you ask for changes or we encounter other unforseen problems. If the project cost does not fit your budget please call and we can discuss ways to cut costs. Many times there are ways to cut costs without sacrificing the entire design.

Place Order

Once you decide our bid is what you want, you can sign an agreement and place a down payment. For most projects, the down payment is 1/3 of the bid.

Construction & Installation

All custom furniture and cabinetry is made in our Austin, TX workshop or on-site at your home.  Nothing is prefabricated. Once the specifications have been determined, the materials are cut to fit the dimensions required. Parts for the entire hardwood face frame are glued and screwed together as one unit, guaranteeing square-ness and sturdiness.

As part of its full-service commitment to excellence, our staff will install your new cabinetry. We will advise your plumber, electrician, and building contractor to ensure that the cabinets and shelving components are installed per specification, Any adjustments can be made on site.

We deliver, install and trim our own cabinets.  All components are delivered complete - turn-key - installed and trimmed in one to two days and ready for finishing.

Installation in the home varies in length from one day to many weeks depending on the scope of the work to be preformed. No matter what the length our installers will respect you and your home. When we are done, we will clean up the work area and remove any installation-related waste.
